AMS - Auto Marine Services was established in 1984 in Botley, Hampshire. We are located in the Southampton area with easy reach to the Solent, Hamble River, Itchen River, Gosport and Portsmouth areas. We even travel as far as London. We have 30 years of experience with Mercury and MerCruiser products. Our fully factory trained engineers operate from a well equipped workshop which includes state of the art computerized diagnostic systems for Verado, Optimax and MerCruiser engines. Our engineers are capable of setting up Digital Throttle & Shift (DTS) Systems

Service, Parts and Sundries

Main Dealership
AMS is a main dealership and has access to original parts. AMS carries a large stock of parts and sundries. However there is an overnight delivery service for out-of-stock parts

Dynamometer
With our mobile Dynamometer we are able to come out to your boat to dyno test engines from 40 Hp to 500 Hp. We carry most service parts in stock for the engines that we service. We also provide a small boat or engine collection and delivery service. Other services include cleaning, valuating and anti-fouling.
